Unfortunately, there is not too much that you can do to change what the kids' mother is doing. There was an entire history between your boyfriend and his ex which you cannot even fathom. Also, his duties to his children are extremely important. The best you can do is to be understanding and patient. If you don't think that this is for you, it is probably best to move on and meet someone who has less baggage. It sounds as though his divorce may be fairly recent and if that is the case, there may still be jealousy and resentment. If anything, you can possibly focus on being very kind and supportive to all involved, including your boyfriend, his kids, and even his ex. That sounds nuts, but if you can win her over in any way possible, do it. Also, she must feel that nothing inappropriate is happenning around the kids. I know my concern would be the "sleep overs" and any other sexual behavior, plus whether the kids were being properly cared for. Kids should not have to suffer because the parents want to have the single life!
