There are two things that must be met in order to even try to begin expungment proceedings. These things are:
- An arrest was made that did not lead to a guilty charge
- A defendant received deferred adjudication and completed community supervision for a class C misdemeanor charge
If these things relate to your case, then you can attempt to begin the expungement process if a judge allows it, but there are no guaranteed and a good case must be presented.
