Technically yes, but the required dosage means either smoking literally tons of marijuana or injecting a huge amount of THC directly into your body. Only one direct death from marijuana use has ever been reported, and that was due to the normal physiological effects on the body, not poisoning.

i searched all over the internet and it'll take about 800 blunts to overdose on marijuana....go fgure

No, not even once. American Judge Francis Young studied all the evidence in 198 and ruled that "marijuana is far safer than many foods we commonly consume." The federal agency NIDA says that autopsies show 75 people per year are high on marijuana when they die, but this does not mean marijuana is a factor in any of their deaths.

So if anyone tells you marijuana a bad thing. tell them to just stop talking. because it is true, marijuana is the safest medicine out there.

happily - no you cannot . All creature's from Sea Sponge's to us Humans have an " endo- Cannabinoid" system - that is , an internal cannabinoid system with receptors located all over the body ( body stoned anyone??) , spine , spleen , liver , kidneys , all over. however in the Medulla part of the brain that controls breathing and heart rate - there are Zero cannabinoid receptors - none whatsoever. unlike many other drugs that do have receptors in this area , causing depressed respiration etc etc and death. Marijuana does not as there are none in this area. - anyone who say's you can - is seriously mislead - the fact's are there - it cannot , has not and will not for the last 5, 000 years of known use and for the next 5,000 years - it's safer than a lot of foods we eat.

- it also has a very high " therapeutic index" meaning - its safety is well known as it requires very little to achieve the desired result with little or no " huge desire to redose - it has a safe therapeutic index of 1000:1

- happy use !

* It is physically impossible to take enough marijuana that it would kill you. The lethal dose of marijuana is at least one-third your body weight, consumed in fifteen minutes. See http://druglibrary.org/schaffer/library/mj_overdose.htm

It is physically impossible to overdose on weed. For a person to overdose on weed they would need to smoke a minimum of their body weight worth in less than 90 days. Not only would it be impossible to consume that much in so little time, but nobody can afford that much weed. Nobody has ever died due to marijuana since long before The Bible was written.

Well, you tell me. Statistics have shown that in order to overdose on marijuana, you would have to either smoke your body weight x 3 then convert to grams, or smoke 800 joints in an hour, so you tell me.
