Men don't often know how to express themselves well. He is obviously still hoping he and his ex wife may get back together again. This is common. It's difficult on children when their parents divorce. It's more complicated than one can ever know. However, he shouldn't have gotten into the serious relationship with you and been more honest. It's time to tell this guy to hit the bricks and express why. He's not thinking straight and he's not considering your feelings or your dreams of the future. I wouldn't place a bet on this guy!
By splitting up with him you are either going to save yourself a lot of heartache, or, he'll miss you enough to make a decision. Either way, you'll win.
