Heaviest musical instrument?

Answer:

The instrument you're looking for is called a Carillon. It is made up of at least 23 cast bronze cup shaped bells. They are housed in a free standing pavillion, or in the steeple or belfy of a church or other municipal building. They are played with a pedaled keyboard. The heaviest being around 100 tons I believe. I'ts in New York City somewhere, though the majority of these instruments lie in Ireland. There is an electronic version ie. "CompuChime." All it is is a sythetic version of the original.
