located on Broadway, it consisted of restaurant, night club featuring entertainment(George Gobel, George Brunis dixieland group and a piano player who had a hit tune who had an unusual way of playing the piano, he was from Cinn. Ohio if memory serves me right. It also conisted of a men's sports wear shop. The alleys were open 24 hours a day and the pro bowlers were the best of the day. The pin boys made 11 cents a line and they stayed in the back of the alleys. The back wall was decorated with a wall covered mural of pixie type bowlers. A Ms Florence Mccutcheon worked there part time, she held/holds the world record for high score series for women..

Always a fun place. I used to take dates there in the early 60's. It was also called the Time-In Lounge. At that time they were doing mostly record pantomimes and burlesque comic routines. Jiggs the bartender was great with little ersatz magic tricks, like emptying an ashtray into the front of his pants when he came by your table.

The piano player mentioned was Al Morgan, and his big hit was 'Jealous Heart'. He passed away around 1989.
