I changed the wick on a corona sx2e kerosene heater it was not a simple task, since i did not have the manual; here is how to do it. 1 remove batteries. press the shut-off button to lower the wick. Open the grill and remove the burner chimney. Pull out the burner ignition lever knob and the wick control knob. loosen and take two screw off the lower part of the front plate, remove the front plate by pulling it's lower part toward you. 2. Take out the cartridge tank ( fuel tank ) remove 2 screws at the back of the heater, and lift the cabinet off the base plate. 3.Remove the wick guide ring by taking the screw out. 4. Unfasten the 3 nuts that hold the wick guide in place remove the wick guide by pulling it up. 5. Pull the wick raising the support bracket ( the wick lever ) 6. Remove the screw that holds the ignition bracket on to the wick guide tube, remove it from the tube. 7. Remove the 2 screws that hold the ignition to the frame, just set aside being it's attached by wires for the batteries. 8. Remove the 3 nuts that hold the tube to the frame ( the screw are welded to the from from within thay wont fall in to the tank ) pull up and remove the case from around the tube 9. There is an arm attached to the silver tube that holds the wick, the arm has what looks like a screw but it's not it can be pried away from the arm but ther is a pin that also has to be lifted inside the arm at the same time. Once this is removed the wick and wick holder can be lifted out. Press the wick fittings flat with a screwdriver and remove. 10. Put the new wick into the wick guide and line the 3 wick fittings up to the holes in the holder with the short part of the wick toward the igniter. 11. Then put it back together. I hope this helps someone Heidi
