Amazing hunting dog, extremely smart and will find anything. The only drawback is they have the ADD personality of a lab and can be very very hyper but once trained a very obedient dog. strongly recommended
I don't really know how to answer this question other than I have a black lab and it doesn't have black gums you should check and see if your dog isn't mixed with another kind of dog.
