I have been a nurse for 25 years and a psychologist for 8 and I am not sure about it being a special calling. I have certainly met those who that applies and they are the best at their profession. People like me got into it because it was interesting and then found out that there is an amazing amount of money to be made. If it is your calling please pursue it to your fullest capabilities and save the world or maybe just someone in your town.
