You are not given a due date judging by the fundal height.
A comparison of your size with length of pregnancy may be made by measuring the fundal height with a tape measure. After 20 weeks the length of pregnancy corresponds with the measured fundal height in centimetres. This is fairly accurate if done by the same person each time. More importantly it shows if your baby is maintaining its growth. For example if you measure 20cm at 20 weeks, and then at 30 weeks you only measure 27cm your baby is not growing at the normal rate. It can also show if your baby is larger than average.
Both small and large babies may have trouble at birth.
They are almost accurate. I was told my baby girl was due on 9th March. She came on the 7th, but looked at least 1-2 weeks overdue. I knew when my last menstrual period was but according to the ultrasound dates it was different. I would say in some cases they are pretty accurate, but if you know when your last menstrual period was and when you had sex, your dates are better then the doctors.
Your fundal height is like the fundal height of 7 months old pregnant. You baby is large for a 27 week. Have your sugar test for gestational diabetes, control intake of sweets and calories.Go to your obstetrician.
Fundal Height. Basically the height of the bump.
In Naegel's rule if you are 6 months your fundal height is about 30 cm. You are just within range.
To estimate gestational age clinically from the fundal height. Uterus palpable at pubic symphysis- 12 weeks At umbilicus- 24 weeks At xiphisternum- 36 weeks For every 4 fingerbreadth increase in fundal height from these landmarks, gestational age increases by 4 weeks.
You can estimate by measuring fundal height and using Naegel's rule or have an ultrasound to detect age of pregnancy.
not very accurate. my math tutor said he was 4'11 when he was 13 and usually a person of that height would end up being around 5'7, but he is 6' tall.

Doctors usually look at your height and weight. They combine the information and they predict how tall you might be. But remember, doctors are predicting.
