Selena Quintanilla Perez died on March 31st, 1995. She had an argument with Yolanda Saldivar over missing financial papers, and when she turned to go out the door to get help, Yolanda shot Selena in the back.

The bullet traveled through Selena's right shoulder, and severed a major artery. Selena ran out of the room (used to be room 158, now room 150 of the Days Inn motel on 901 Navigation AVE in Corpus Christi TX) and across the courtyard.

By the time she reached the main lobby, she was already bleeding to death. She practically died on the lobby floor.

I think Selena did not get medical attention quickly enough, as the severed major artery could have been clamped and ultimately fixed by surgery if doctors had discovered it fast enough and that may have prevented the bleeding to death but I think doctors probably did find out what happened....and after Selena's death after all her family was at the hospital the doctors did not have enough blood to put in Selena's body and i don't know what happend next but all that i know is that the stupied old lady yolanda saldivar killed Selena quintanilla Perez and i was one of Selena's biggest fans i wish she was still here performing like i said when i saw the movie at the end me and my brother said no singer no fans we all still miss Selena.SHE WILL ALWAYS BE IN MY MEMORY i love u Selena i WISH U WERE STILL HERE!!!!!!!!!! i love u
