Some schools provide good info and some important rules for child care and babysitting. If your school dosent provide a course or class you may be able to find a place at a clinic.
I honestly can't remember, sorry! Just take basic health classes (c.p.r. etc.) or baby sit for close friends and family if they think you're responsible enough to do it without the course.
