Lets say were dealing with birds........ these babies are new born so who is gonna make the nest gather food and other needs...... the father will gather material and the mom will build........ the mom will gather and the mother will feed....... the father is to travel off and make sure the coast is clear.... SO HOW ARE THE BIRDS GONNA SURVIVE WITHOUT ANY GUIDANCE they will look out for another

∙ 13y agoThe first couple weeks the cows have their calves hiding in the bush or tall grass very much like deer, moose and elk do, while they forage. When the calves get older, often a baby-sitter cow is elected to be with a group of calves to take care and watch over them while the rest of the cow herd goes off in search of food. When a calf is in danger, and momma is around, the cow will charge at the threatening source, growling, shaking her head, pawing the ground, etc., until the intruder goes away. Sometimes a group of cows will form a ring around their calves when predators like wolves or feral dogs threaten their calves, and the mothers charge at them.
