Earthquakes usually occur at plate boundaries, e.g. Pacific Ring of Fire, where the plate collide into each other and create shockwaves that rock Earth's surface.

Its a map to distribute things.
A regular land map will show landmarks and natural features such as mountains, plateaus, islands, etc. An earthquake map will show tectonic plate faults and earthquake danger zones.
It is called the epicenter.
