How are animals different from fungi?

Answer

Different types of lifeforms have different types of cells and different chemicals and structures in those cells. Fungus cells are closer in design to plant cells then to animal cells but are still different then the things we consider to be plants. Some classifications consider Fungus to to be a type of plant and others put them in a group called Protista. One type of fungus called slime mold does act a lot like an animal and can move around but the biology of the cells is still rather plant-like.
