A mole is the amount of a substance that contains as many atoms, molecules, ions, or other elementary units as the number of atoms in 0.012 kilogram of carbon 12. The number is 6.0225 × 1023, or Avogadro's number. Molar mass is the mass of one mole of a substance.
Atomic weight: the atomic weight of an chemical element, in Atomic Mass units or gram atomic mass
Atomic mass: the atomic mass of an isotope, in atomic mass units or gram atomic mass
Molecular mass: the mass of a molecule, in atomic mass units or gram molecular mass
A Mole is a number, mass is a measure of how much stuff there is (often mistaken as weight).
Mole:
6.022 141 79 × 1023
Molar mass is how much mass a mole (a number) of a particular atom or molecule has.
6.022 141 79 × 1023 Atoms of Hydrogen have a mass of about 1.0079 g.
The molar mass of Hydrogen is 1.0079 g/mol.
Mass can be measured in many things- grams, pounds, tonnes, stones, Earths- it can not be measured in moles.
Atomic Mass Unit (amu, or more commonly just u) is used to describe mass on a molecular scale. It is based on a fraction of a Carbon-12 atom at rest in it's ground state (1/12th of it to be exact).
On the other hand, Molar Mass is used to describe mass per amount (g/mol or kg/mol).
Also note:
1 amu = 1 g/mol
1 amu =~ 1.6605E-27 kg
Molecular mass is the mass of a molecule. However, molar mass can mean one or both of the following:
1: The sum of the masses of each element in a given compound. Such as in water (H2O), you need to get the sum of the mass of two atoms of Hydrogen and one for oxygen.
2: The mass of a given substance divided by its amount of substance.
See the related links for more information.
Atomic number is the number of protons in the nuclei of the atoms of an element. Atomic number is unique to each element. Atomic mass is the combined mass of the protons, neutrons, and electrons in an atom of an element.
Mass is the amount of matter in a particular object. Molar mass is a chemistry term, and is the amount of mass per mole of a particle.
Atomic mass is the weight of a single atom/molecule, while molar mass is the mass of a mole of that particular element/compound, having 6.o23 x 10 to the power 23 atoms/molecules.
There the same.
The molar mass of H2Te = 129.61588 g/mol
The molar mass is the mass of a molecule - sum of the masses of contained atoms, expressed in grams. The atomic mass is the mass of an isotope expressed in unified mass atomic units. The atomic weight is the mass of a chemical element (taking into account its isotopes) expressed in unified mass atomic units; also known today as relative atomic mass. IUPAC maintain the term (standard) atomic weight.
The molar mass of a compound is the sum of the atomic weights of the contained elements.
#moles = mass/molar mass mass = #moles*molar mass mass = .10 moles*(atomic weight of na+atomic weight of N+3(atomic weight of oxygen)
The problem for nitric acid (HNO3). Molar mass would be 63.02g/mol
The atomic (molecular) weight of a substance is its molar mass.
molar mass is the actual mass of the one atom but relative mass is the average isotopes of the atoms.------------------------------------------Atomic mass is the mass of an isotope, expressed in atomic mass units.Molar mass is the mass of molecule, calculated from the atomic weights of the contained chemical atoms, expressed in grams.
the Atomic Mass in g/ml is the molar mass of the element
The molar mass of H2Te = 129.61588 g/mol
Molar mass is the mass of particles in one mole of a substance. Molar mass is equal to atomic/ molecular/ formula mass in amu. Formula mass is in atomic mass unit while molar mass is in grams .
the Atomic Mass in g/ml is the molar mass of the element
107.8682 with varying amounts close to that. FYI molar mass : atomic mass.

The molar mass of a molecule is the sum of atomic weights of the elements contained in this molecule.
