A scorpion is quite large in comparison to a psedoscorpion. Ascorpion is a predatory arthropod while the pseudo scorpion is an arachnid. Scorpions live up to 25 years, while the pseudoscorpions live only 2 or 3 years in adulthood. Scorpions sting while the pseudoscorpion is harmless to humans and "are generally beneficial to humans since they prey on clothes moth larvae, carpet beetle larvae, booklice, ants, mites, and small flies. They are small and inoffensive, and are rarely seen due to their size."
The difference between a spider and a scorpion, is that a scorpion has a long tail that curves over its back, and at the end of the tail, there is a sack filled with venom and a stinger.
A spider does not have this.
You must be careful though. most scorpions are very venomous. Some are so deadly, that they can kill a person in 30 minutes.
The very venomous scorpions have very small and thin pincers. The non venomous scorpions have very large pincers.
Scorpions are arachnids, which is a different family than insects. Arachnids have 8 legs and all have venom of some kind. Scorpions contain venom in their stingers, which detatch upon stinging a target. Their stings can take up to several hours to re-generate. Spiders are also arachnids.

The Asian forest scorpion has a black telson (stinger) whereas the emperor has an amber telson. The emperor has larger chelea (claws) proportional to its body and the claws have a more bumpy or granulated texture to them. The emperor is from Africa and the Asian forest is from, well Asia. Emperors burrow more and are generally more docile.
The first answer given is untrue. (crossed out below) First of all there are male and female scorpions and secondly there are reasons for wanting to know this. From what I have read, you can tell the difference between a male and female scorpions by counting the amount of teeth they have. Females tend to have less teeth than males. Of course this is entirely dependant on the type of scorpion that you are looking at. But if this is true I do not know. there is no reason anyone would want to know that, and you cant, there is one gender scorpion, they don't reproduce like we do.
No, it does not turn into the scorpion.
