lakes are differant from ponds because lakes are bigger than pounds and the sunlight is able to hit the bottom of a pound and create alge. And the sunlight is not able to hit the bottom of a lake.

First of all, you need to know that a lake is much deeper and larger than a pond. Next, light reaches the bottom of a pond not a lake. I'm surprised that I learned this from last year.
Similarities = They are both Wet. Differences = One's a Lake, and the others a Pond! and i doubt you will find a lake in your back garden! a lake is a bigger version of a pond that has more chances...
