Mitosis is the asexual form of reproduction, Meiosis being the sexual form. Mitosis involved replicating the Chromosomes of the cell and placing the exact replicas in the daughter cells, resulting in 2 cells. This is asexual reproduction because the cells are exactly the same. Meiosis involved replication of the chromosomes, random mixing of them and division into 2 cells, duplication and random mixing again and then division into two more cells resulting in 4 cells. This is sexual reproduction because the cells are not exactly the same.
Sexual Reproduction is where you have to have a female and a male to repopulate but Asexaul Reproduction is where you only have to have a female sto repopulate so the relationship would be that you have to have females but other than that than there is no relationship between them. Example: A flower is under the group of Asexal Reproduction. But us as humans and animals are Sexaul Reproduction.
Mitosis is the beginning of Meiosis
All steps of meiosis II are similar to the steps of Mitosis
asexual reproduction
Humans are not able to reproduce asexually. Asexual reproduction involves only mitosis. In the human reproductive system sperm cells are formed by another type of nuclear division called meiosis in which cells with two sets of chromosomes form cells with only one set. Mitosis is when the cells such as stem cells make identical copies of themselves.
When an organism reproduces they pass on their genetic information in the DNA to their offspring.
There isn't an organelle that is responsible for cellular reproduction. Instead, cells go through phases of Mitosis (somatic cells) and Meiosis (gametes), during which the DNA duplicates itself and the nucleus divides to create two diploid cells (Mitosis) or four haploid cells (Meiosis). Haploid cells, also known as gametes, are responsible for sexual reproduction. Gametes include sperm (male) and egg (female).
From Wikipedia: "Asexual reproduction is a mode of reproduction by which offspring arise from a single parent, and inherit the genes of that parent only, it is reproduction which does not involve meiosis, ploidy reduction, or fertilization."It essentially means that one organism can "split" into two offspring. Bacteria are a classic case of asexual reproduction. In their case, the actual process of asexual reproduction is known as Binary Fission.Although Wikipedia is not the best source for academia, the article below(Sources and related links) gives a great overview of asexual reproduction.

no, but there is asexual and sexual reproduction of plants. see related questions below

Meiosis is the process of cell division in germ line cells to form gametes. This process furthers sexual reproduction because each gamete has half the number of chromosomes of normal cells, so that when two gametes (one from each parent) combine, the correct number of chromosomes is preserved in the resulting zygote organism. This process is unlike mitosis, where the cells are simply replicated, preserving the number chromosomes
When an organism reproduces they pass on their genetic information in the DNA to their offspring.
Meiosis allows a cell to form into 4 cells (by meiosis 1 (which is literally mitosis) and meiosis 2 (mitosis without DNA replication)) in meiosis 1, the cells exchanges DNA information between homologous pairs, this allows genes to be transferred and creates 4 unique and distinct cells. segragation of alleles occur too.
MITOSIS is the complicated process of chromosome seperation MIOSIS is the copying process that creates cells with half the usual number of chromozomes Mitosis is the process of cell division in somatic cells to make 2 identical diploid cells. ItMeiosis is a process of cell division that creates 4 haploid cells that are not completely identical. Meiosis creates sex cells or gametes. The question should be rephrased so the spelling is correct. I believe the question should read, what is the difference between MEIosis and Mitosis? I can understand the spelling mistake but in medical language everything is about spelling correctly. The original question is asking "what is the difference between constriction of the pupil of the eye"(which occurs in bright settings, miosis), and "what is cell division that creates 2 identical diploid cells" (for example occurs whenever you produce new skin cells, mitosis). These are not related therefore there should not be a question of what the difference is. I will answer what meiosis is which is related to mitosis. Meisos is cell division that creates 4 haploid cells that are not identical, two from the father two from the mother. These are sex cells for reproduction. This is due to allowing genetic make up of these cells to be diverse creating a mixture of DNA from both parents. This is also why siblings are not identical unless they are identical twins.
