How are the protein molecules processed?

Proteins are comprised of amino acids.

alpha amino acids The amino acids having acidic(COOH) and basic(NH2) groups attached to same carbon atom are called alpha amino acids. These amino acids exist in the form of Zwitter ions.

Smaller molecules called amino acids make protein molecules.
