The rainforest is full of moisture, it is also extremely humid. There are high trees with a lot of greenery. Tree frogs thrive in hot conditions where it is damp, and they live high up in trees. Their long legs allow them to leap high & far distances, and their almost 360 vision allows them to see all around them to detect predators (and prey). As well as this, their skin can change in colour. It can vary from being very dark, to very light green; depending on the colour of the leaves on the trees they are hiding in. They have sticky feet to latch themselves onto the trees. However, they do not have long tongues to catch food with, as they don't normally look for food near water sources. As they live in trees, many insects and creatures crawl along the branches, which they simply catch in their mouths at close range.

Red eyed tree frogs do not adapt. They live in the rainforest and they were born in the rainforest. However, they enjoy the heavy downpours as it is good for finding their food after the rain has ended. When it rains heavily, they sit in special plants which collect water and dead flies. Therefore the amphibian has its own way of coping due to the surroundings they have and the atmosphere. They prefer to have wet and soggy areas because it is alot more moist than other areas that's only why you see normal frogs come out when it is wet, its because they prefer the texture.
