Depends on how often you go. I once went about 2 years without donating and the track marks went away. However I started up again to get rid of my weekly gas needs and I go twice a week. I've been told I look like a heroin addict. However, if people know what you do and you don't have a skinny, sickly look to you it won't look so bad.
is it bad donating blood a day before surgery?
Not so long as you are healthy
u lose your money
seven raisins
Of course they are!
I wouldn't say it's "bad" for your veins, but I've been doing it for almost a year now and you will have a pretty nasty scar where they stick you. I had to stop using the arm I normally donated with because it was getting so bad. They'll will probably also ask you if you use a bigger or smaller needle according to how big your veins are. You can chose either but I use the bigger needle because I finish donating faster, however I'm supposed to use the smaller one, so keep that in mind if you donate. Using a big needle when you have tiny veins probably won't be "bad" but from time to time if you don't get someone who sticks well, it will REALLY hurt-because that exact thing happened to me this morning.
No you don't. You're donating a dog and not selling it. (sorry if my English is bad)
you could not if you get bad marks.
No, it's a myth and a very poor one.
You want to look for "LED" when searching for a good plasma HDTV because it helps save energy. The downside of a plasma tv is the constant glare on the screen.
By selling plasma, a person can make about $40 per pint. The blood bank visit will take about an hour or so depending on how busy they are. Only one pint of blood is taken per visit. There are also restrictions on who can participate and how often a person can give blood.
a damp cloth works...depending on how bad the white marks are
