One listed cause of Laura's death is from a stroke. This may be confusion with her sister Mary's cause of death. Other sources cite a heart attack as the cause. Either way, Laura, Carrie and Grace all died from Diabetes-related causes in an era when treatment for the disease was much more primitive
Laura Ingalls Wilder did not have a stroke. She passed away in 1957 due to cardiovascular issues.
No, Laura Ingalls Wilder's brother Charles did not die before her. Charles Ingalls, her father, passed away after Laura had become an adult. Laura expressed sorrow over his death, but her feelings were not explicitly documented as disappointment.
She may have been Rh - , in the old days women with this blood condition had one, or at the most two, children. This was the case in my great-grandmother's life. Laura also developed Diabetes, and Rose was 9 lbs at birth, pointing to gestational diabetes perhaps? And then, Almanzo had that terrible stroke, Laura never conceived (that we know of) after that; perhaps he became somewhat impotent. And Laura had bad nutrition all the years she was growing up; that couldn't have helped.
Some of the challenges that Laura Ingalls Wilder faced include losing her infant brother, living through harsh winters and droughts on the frontier, experiencing poverty, and enduring the death of her sister, Mary. Despite these hardships, she later found success as a writer and became a beloved children's author.

yes you can die from having a stroke, it really depends on how bad it is yes you can die from a stroke Not directly from a stroke itself, but indirectly from a stroke (e.g. what the stroke casuses the body) etc

Laura died on February 10, 1957. In all likelihood (there was no autopsy), yes it was a heart attack. She had only been released from the hospital five weeks before, and was treated for diabetes and a bad heart condition while she was hospitalized. She was 90 years old, and had had a hard life. She died in her sleep, and the odds-on reason is almost certainly a heart attack.
bad gas
No, a bad neck can't cause a stroke. However if one side of your arm is tingling, the side of the neck rigid or possibly achy as is the jaw get to ER fast and have it checked out. These could be indications of a stroke.
