The French Bulldog is a very small breed, even when fully grown. Being only a few inches taller than the Chihuahua the French Bulldog is 11 - 12 inches high at the shoulder (when fully grown).
Puppies are incredibly small and do not grow at a fast pace, they stay small for up to half a year and then begin to grow at normal pace, at around a year the dog starts to grow fast and at 2 years the dog is fully grown.
I hope this is suitable information ;)
