Here's an approximate answer. First, a definition. Let's take the mall to be a rectangle bounded on the East by the Capitol, on the West by the Lincoln Memorial, and on the North and South by the buildings of the Smithsonian. (It's possible to take definitions which would make it larger.) This rectangle is about 11,500 feet long (a little over two miles) and nearly 1000 feet wide. That makes it something over 250 acres. A good cartographer could give a better answer.
