It gradually subsided since practically everyone had either died or been exposed, but it was not gone. There have been various other outbreaks in Europe since the 1300s.
The Black Death was dependent on its carriers, fleas and rats, both of which it killed. When the supply of fleas and rats became too small, it was no longer supported widely, and ceased to be epidemic. It did return, from time to time, in many places, and remained a problem until the 1950s or so. It is still around today, but is fairly easily treated if it is diagnosed quickly enough.
i think it stopped when the people stared to take more care of their body's and stared to have a bath more but i think the rats could have died and then the people stared to get better and the fleas could have caught it and died so they didn't get to bit us and then the people are alive today
The black death or black plague had no effective medical treatments until recent times. Many believed it was a punishment sent by God. A number of things probably contributed to the end of the many, including the "great plague," waves that periodically swept across Europe. The first is the death of people and the disease itself. When an outbreak of the plague was noted, the deaths significantly reduced the population and those that were not infected limited their exposure to others through less trade and travel. In addition, many doctors believed the plague to be caused by miasma, or the pollution of the air with toxic matter from rotting material. This led to better hygiene and cleaner cities. While this was not the source of the disease, cleaner streets may have helped reduced the rat population somewhat. By the 17th Century , there were some advances in understanding the disease and its causes. Plague hospitals were built, health boards were in place, and somewhat effective countermeasures were instituted. A constant decrease outbreaks occurred and eventually became a rarity. There are still 1,000 - 3,000 reports of the plague reported worldwide today, with some of those cases originating in the US. The last reported case in Europe came just after WWII. There is treatment available in the form of antibiotics and supportive therapy, but treatment must begin with 24 hours of the onset of symptoms and or the chance of survival drops to about 50%. A vaccine is also available to people whose jobs or environment put them at a higher risk of contracting the disease.
A History Channel documentary I saw stated that the people worked hard to make their living environment cleaner. The dead were taken to a grave as soon as possible, they washed more, burned things that may be infected, etc.
The "Black Deasth" or Bubonic Plague is still with us. According to a study published Sept. 16 2013 in the American Journal of Tropical Medicine and Hygiene more than 10,000 people in Congo over a decade, and cases still occasionally emerge in the Western United States. As to why the Black Death episode (1348 tp 1350) ended, there are several opinions:

Well It started in 1348 and ended in 1350 :)
It usually ended it.
Time and lack of rats which also died.
The power in the Kings/Monarchs got diminished because feudalism ended after the black death. This means there was a rise in higher-class because they started to pay more for a servant considering most serfs/peasants were dying. therefore, power was basically demolished after the black death :)
