Answer
To check the version of the internet explorer
go to HELP > and click on "About internet options" > a page will display , on its top you can check the version of your internet explorer . Answer: Open internet explorer and then open help menu. and then select About internet explorer then open a window show there browser version. Answer: Sometimes the help menu can be hard to find. To find it look to the upper right of your IE browser window you will see several icons along the words Page and Tools. Next to the word tools you will see two small arrows pointing to the right. Click on them and you will see a drop down menu that says Help. And when you click HELP another drop down will show a list that includes "About Internet Explorer". Click that and you will find the version of your IE. Why Microsoft's best and brightest makes it so hard to find this feature is beyond me. I shake my head in disbelief everytime I am helping a friend with this issue. Maybe it has changed in Version 8. I think I download it now and check it out.

The easiest way to tell (there are many) is to go to What Browser website (link is under this answer), it tells you which browser you are using.
Open IE. Click on the Help menu. Click on "About Internet Explorer." The window that pops up will tell you which version it is.
If you click on Help/About Internet Explorer/ you will see to the right of the version number: "64-bit Edition" if IE is the 64-bit version. If it's the 32-bit edition, there will be no mention of it. As of this point in time (July 11, 2010), Adobe has not made a 64-bit version of Flash available for Windows-based systems. As a result. the 64-bit version of Internet Explorer cannot render Flash objects, including the YouTube video player.

Internet Explorer 11 (IE11) is the eleventh and last version of the Internet Explorer web browser, released by Microsoft in October 2013 for Windows 7 and Windows Server 2008 R2. It comes pre-installed with Windows 8.1 and Windows 10 and Microsoft does not offer IE11 for separately purchase anymore. Although Microsoft does not offer IE11 as a standalone product, users can still upgrade their existing versions of IE to IE11. To do this, you will need to download the appropriate version for your computer from the official Microsoft website. This is free but note that IE11 requires Windows 7, Windows 8.1 or Windows 10. If you do not have any of those operating systems, the only way to get Internet Explorer 11 is to purchase a key to install Windows. Microsoft offers several options including Windows 7, 8.1, and 10 with the following options: retail, OEM, volume licensing, and a range of subscription-based products including Office 365 ProPlus. You can buy a Windows product key online through various authorized Microsoft resellers. Before you buy, itβs worth taking some time to compare the different versions to find the most suitable option. And when you are ready to purchase a key, you can use the promo code, MO30KEYS, for a 30% discount at the Microprokey site. This offer is valid for a limited time only, so be sure to take advantage of it soon.
The official site has a feature where it will check the version on your computer & tell you if you have the latest one & then offer download if you don't.
pls tell me how to run oracle developer suite 10g forms using interent explorer 8 in windows xp3
No. The OS allows a programme, usually a browser, such as Internet Explorer or Firefox etc, to run and it gets you on the net to your favourite site or your email or whatever.
