Best way is through diet and exercise. I bet you heard it all before but really those two are the only way. Cut out the junk food (anything deep fried and loads of cheese). Go on the treadmill for 20-25 minutes 3 days a week and the pounds melt off. I find running outdoors burns calories a lot more and its more empowering running outdoors. Avoid the elliptical machine as I don't find it effective as the treadmill. Put your treadmill on an incline and warm up for 5 minutes walking and do interval training (run 1 minute, walk 1 minute and increase the running by a minute per week until you can do it at least 5 minutes). Push yourself but not to the point where you hurt yourself. I lost 30 pounds in 4 months this way and eat whatever I want, and just control the junk food. I treat myself to mini-candies but cut fries, Pizza and sweets and replaced it with salads, pastas and soups. I don't count carbs or cals, but eat more healthy foods. I found that cutting sugar out of my coffee helped tremendously! Once you lose some weight, add weight training to tone your body.
There is only one way to loose weight unless you can afford Liposuction, eat less than you burn. Change your diet and exercise patterns to burn more than you eat and you'll loose weight. How much is up to you.
Starvation diets don't work, they just cause your body to "shut down" and prepare for famine. Instead, go high protein, low fat, low carbohydrate. In other words, eat plenty of fish, turkey, beans, and cut back on butter, anything fried, anything with simple sugar or processed starch in it.
Safe foods: whole grain foods that don't have sugar in the first three ingredients. You can include baked or broiled fish, fowl or red meat in moderation, that means not much beef, pork or lamb. Make sure you have plenty of green vegetables, boiled or steamed without butter. Also include 3 servings of fresh fruit daily, fruit cannot be packed in sugar but can have been frozen.
Foods to avoid: butter, cream, sugar, honey, corn starch, white flour, any kind of fried food, candy, ice cream (sorry), anything with sugar in the first three ingredients, anything that results in more than 100 calories per day in total fats (that only allows you 10 to 11 grams of fat per day, which isn't much)
Exercise: vigorous exercise at least 5 times per week for at least 45 minutes. That can be something like jogging, bicycling at a speed of 15 mph or more, swimming, raquetball or anything that works up a good sweat and gets the pulse rate WAY up for the 45 minute exercise period.
NOTE: Don't do any of this if there is any doubt about your physical condition or if you even SUSPECT something might be wrong, unless you get a checkup and permission by your physician.
A combination of good diet and vigorous exercise not only causes weight loss, it makes you very attractive. When someone follows a program such as is described above, he/she will look far more healthy than simple starvation, and the weight loss will be easier to maintain. Many people just diet or even diet to extreme. That kind of plan results in disappointment and an unhealthy look.
When a 12 year old loses 30 pounds in a one month time frame, they should be taken to a physician. For a child to lose 30 pounds in one month, there could be an underlying medical condition or anorexia or bulimia.
I lost alot of weight doing track (long distance) for my high school we ran like 6-7 miles every weekday and after 100 crunches and 200 bicycle kicks. After track i gained alot of weight because I never ran a lot after that but I am doing soccer and trying to motivate myself to start running. I have lost about 8 pounds in a month. And i watch what I eat only consuming about 1100 calories a day. Best of luck
There is no way to lose that much weight in 10 days. Safe weight loss is 1 to 2 pounds a week.
Probably die, just about the only way
If you didn't gain it in 3 months, you aren't going to lose it in three months.
Half that weight would be a rate that could be done.
Not going to happen. Weight loss is not magic, it is eating fewer calories than you burn. With exercise and a sensible diet, you can lose about 2 pounds a week. That is 8 pounds in a month, not 20. If you try starvation, you will lose weigh more slowly.
Try exercising at least 5 times a week and cutting back on calories. This will allow you to lose the weight.
you dont. dont starve yourself
It healthy to lose up to 15 pound a week if Ur over weight
Losing 29 pounds in a month is not recommended as it is not safe or healthy. A safe rate of weight loss is generally 1-2 pounds per week. Rapid weight loss can lead to muscle loss, nutrient deficiencies, and other health issues. It is important to focus on making sustainable lifestyle changes to achieve long-term weight loss goals.
I'm not an expert but I'd say that's too much, too fast. Maybe more gradual. But before you start just consider the possibility that you don't need to lose that much.
up to 30 or 40 pounds?
well, u need to go lose it im not to skinny myself i just started exersizing
Since this teen is young they can lose weight easily by getting lots of exercise and having a healthy lifestyle. I suggest eat healthy foods, and going on a diet. Don't force yourself to lose weight (puke) because that is the unhealthy way! Keep in mind that when your young and not healthy you will suffer in the future!
Find a good workout to do eat smaller portions of food exercise regularly but that mite take up to 2 months
A women or teen girl at a certain time of month has their lining in their womb cleaned (which is the blood) So in a way your body is preapering to have a baby
