If a mother can stay clean from drugs for a year or more; have a decent job; live in a decent environment and provide for a child properly then she can go to court to at least go for joint custody to prove she is a fit mother. If she does win then she has to be drug free; no wild parties in the home with old friends who do take drugs; keep working and be sure her child is in safe hands at all times.
