How To Lose Weight and Lead A Healthy Lifestyle
- Try to eat more fruits and vegtables (there are many different types so experiment to find ones you like, try making a smoothie with your favourite fruit)
- Drink more water (8 glasses are recomended)
- Eat smaller portions more often (this way you feel fuller and dont get the urge to snack in between meals)
- Eat breakfast (it speeds up the metabolism)
- Exercise (sit-ups are a great way to rid yourself of a flaby stomach, start doing 10 then build it up gradually so eventualy you do 100 per day. all exercise is great but dont over work yourself.)
- Avoid foods with high salt and fat values (high levels of fat and salt increases the chance of high blood pressure and cholestrol)
- Don't eat takeaway EVER (most takeaway foods contain more calories than needed in a whole day)
- Eat some sugar (sugary foods are good in moderation as they add to a balanced diet)
- Get plenty of sleep (at least 8 hours - this leaves you refreshed and energised)
- Make dieting fun (get your friends and family to join you)
Remember dieting takes time and effort and can be very difficult. The most important thing to remember when trying to lose weight is to not skip any meals. Skipping meals makes your stomach swell and makes you weak.
