Computers are a HUGE help to Corporate Sales and Marketing. I work with Ascension Web Presence Creation LLC, our entire corporation revolves around generating marketing for business websites. I will get to that in a moment, first though I will discuss how useful a computer is with Corporate Sales and Marketing. Computers can simplify calculations, make data examination and review much easier, help keep leads, potentials and client info organized and easily accessible, they make competitor analysis much easier, PR Releases and Articles are easily spread to thousands of people for much cheaper than print, social networks create a "closeness" with the clientele, communications in office are much quicker and the internet allows you to access International and Intercontinental clientele with ease when compared to conventional means. As for marketing, the Internet and Computers have created a whole new multi-billion dollar ad industry that is eating up the ad dollars of newspapers, billboards and T.V. By 2015 it is estimated that 25% of ALL ad budgets will be spent on the Internet. You have to look at the invention of the computer and its importance to marketing like T.V. When the television was first released people were skeptical about its marketing potential and it took about 30 years before it became the juggernaut it is today. Well the same transition is happening with the Internet, any business that plans to still be in operation in 10-20 years and is not a "hands-on" service must make a strong Internet presence NOW or they will be held down by newer and more innovative companies that have taken this leap. If you simply devote 10% of your ad budget to Internet measures you will see the benefit of making Computers central to your Corporations functionality.
