How can design reviews improve designs?

Answer:
By accepting reviews on a design project, whether in digital or physical medium, a designer can take critique/feedback on their project.

This critique/feedback can possibly affect the designer opinion of what looks good, and then the designer can work on the project to reach what they would consider an improvement.

still this might not be seen as an improvement to others, at which point we get into a philosophical discussion on who's point of view is correct. No one can answer that question so lets not try to.
