If the question is "how can you get contact lenses without a CURRENT prescription" then the answer is to buy online from Canada or the UK. While Canada was a good source 5 years ago the UK now has more sites not doing prescription verification and better prices on the lenses and shipping charges to the states. IF you've never worn contact lenses before then the first answer is true and you should always get a contact lens fitting first so you know what size and brand of lenses will work for you.
