I think you mean "how do you get money as a preteen?"...

You could start by doing simple jobs...

You could start off at home by washing the dishes, cleaning the car, cleaning your room, emptying and loading the dishwasher, setting the table, cleaning windows, etc.

Or, if you don't desire allowance or your parents keep forgetting to give you one (as mine do), you could watch the neighbor's pets, wash cars in your neighborhood during the summer, sell homemade items, etc.

Many girls (I'd say 11+) enjoy babysitting the neighborhood kids....

Guys could mow lawns and rake leaves....

13 years of age? I would say ask your parents. if they say no, ask if you can do more chores and earn money. if neither work try and get a job. many people do not hire at 13. so babysit or something like that. good luck
