Yes it is possible to treat Olive Mill wastewater. I recommend using the same technology used by McDonalds restaurants, Dunkin Donuts, Coffee bean processers, Tortilla shell manufacturers, septic treatment systems, petroleum contaminated soils, and municipalities working with sludge. McDonalds installs this technology in their grease trap wastewater. Olive oil and some of the plant compounds in the mill water are easily broken down using the appropriate strains of bacteria and sufficient air and detention time. You can install a patented device called: " The White Knight ABG" This device provides air, fixed film and suspended growth reaction zones that support the growth of non-pathogenic strains of Pseudomonas and Bacillus microbes which are contained in IOS-500 bacteria.
