Whether the thought of whales conjure up imagesof Shamu breaching the water, or the majestic Blue whale swimming or the Grey pilots shooting water through their blowhole- whales are magnificent! And we should do all we can to help them, especially since many are endangered.
Here are suggestions from contributors:

  • Joining Greenpeace or environmental groups.
  • Protesting countries that mistreat animals and make it illegal to whale.
  • Less polluting- keep their oceans clean and healthy.
  • Aid in efforts to stop global warming.
  • Do not hunt them, or buy products made from whales and keep whale hunters away from endangered species!
  • you can help whales by donating money and giving money to funds such as
  1. National Wildlife Federation - www.NWF.org
  2. World Wildlife Fund - www.worldwildlife.org/home.html
  3. Whale and Dolphin Conservation society- www.wdcs.org
  • you can go green, by trying to help the environment you are helping the whales.
