Go to any of your recent contacts an click on the profile picture.Then,one the top left of the screen you will see an edit button.Click on it and fill up everything then your contact will be saved.

Well, if by talking you mean'chat' then you have to add them as a contact. Then when you slide over the name on the left hand side of the page you click on the 'invite to chat' botton and it sends...
In the chat tab on the side there is a little arrow on the right side of the tab. Click on the arrow then select add contact. If the name you want is listed there, just click the box beside the name....

Go to contacts, just below where you see the word contacts of the left hand side, there is a button that says New Contact. Click on that and create a new contact.
