The Hydraulic clutch fitted to the rover 400 is a sealed unit and the only thing that you can do is to replace the complete unit
You don't. There is not a clutch cable on a 1998 integra. It has a hydraulic clutch.
Run car at idle and press / depress clutch. If RPMsfluctuate it's hydraulic.
You can't, it's self adjusting hydraulic clutch.
I think you mean hydraulic clutch. I believe your model is hydraulic.
If you look hard enought there is a way to bleed the clutch but its a whole process....,they come pre bleed from the factory so theres no manufacture instructions
I'm not a mechanic / technician but I would say ( no ) It is a hydraulic clutch on a 1998 Ford Escort The BRAKE FLUID RESERVOIR is also the CLUTCH FLUID RESERVOIR
The Suzuki Intruder has a hydraulic clutch and therefor there is no adjustment.... There is an adjustment on the clutch lever for the distance from the grip, that is all...
How do you change a Master Cylinder and hydraulic clutch line for a 1998 Chevy S10?
Hydraulic Master, slave, and pipe work are all one unit individual parts are not available for the freelander.
The clutch is not adjustable. The hydraulic master/slave cylinder assembly self compensates for wear. You have a problem with the clutch of master/slave.
It is important that you bench bleed the unit before you install it and keep the reservoir full during the process.
1, Remove the rubber cap off the end of the bleed valve. Fit a clear vinyl tube over the bleed screw and put the other end in a container of clean brake fluid.; 2. Have a helper push the clutch pedal several times, then hold to the floor. 3. Loosen the bleed valve to let the air out of the line. When it quits bubbling tighten the bleed vavle. The clutch gets its brake fluid from the brake master cylinder. Check it to make sure it stays full during the bleeding process. 4. Repeat steps 2 and 3 until you don't see bubblels anymore. 5. Close the bleed valve and put the rubber cap back on. 6. Check the clutch that it works OK. If not bleed it again.
