jpeg files can't be converted to *.doc files, Microsoft Word is a word processing tool, not an image editor, but you can insert the image via the insert menu, and centering it and/or if it has a high resolution making it as big as the page itself.

Before you begin, it is important you have a graphics software installed such as Paintshop Pro or Irfanview. If you don't have, download Irfanview and install the software.

Now open the program after installing and open the jpg file.

Modifications can be made to some jpg fileswithout losing its quality only if the image is multiple minimum coded unit. If the top and left of the image lies on the block edge, then its unlikely that the image's quality will be lost.

Happy to help you.

Although there is not a way to save word documents as JPG files there is a free online converter called zamzar which allows you to convert .doc and .docx to PNG files which are supported by most of the software that supports JPEG files

Hope this answers your question

Converting a JPG file to Word document is just easy. Here are a few steps.

1. Open Word and make a new document by pressing "Ctrl+N" or Click "File" and "New" to open a fresh document.

2. Next in the menu bar locate the "insert" option and in the drop-down select "picture" and then "from file" option. Then select the jpg image you want to change.

3. Once the image is selected, you can resize it as per you want. You can resize by clicking on image and then stretching its handles.

4. Next you have to crop the image. You can do that by clicking the crop button.

If you want to drag to the middle, click the crop handles to make it middle. Once done click on the image to stop cropping.

A jpeg cannot be converted into a Word document. It can be inserted into a Word document, but not actually changed into one. They are two completely different things. It is a picture, not text. If you have text in a picture, you cannot convert it into actual text. People have a problem like this after trying to scan text. If you are scanning text from a document, you need to ensure it is scanned in text mode and not as a graphic, as then the text cannot be edited. If you were not using a scanner and have a graphic with text, the only thing you can do is literally type the text.

You cannot convert a Word document into a JPEG. They are not compatible. You can do things like create screen shots of part of a Word document, then go into a graphic package, paste the image and save that as a JPEG. To do the entire document, would take a series of JPEGs, so it cannot be done for a single file unless it only has a small amount of content, all of which you can see on the screen.

A jpeg is a graphic, so it cannot be converted to a Word format. Even if it is a jpeg of some text, it is still a graphic, so that text will not be converted into text in a Word document. You can either insert the whole jpeg into the Word document or, if there is text you want in it, print the jpeg and use a scanner to scan the text into a text format.

How do you convert a scanned Adobe document into JPG format for free and without hassle?

The professional version of Adobe Acrobat allows you to save as or export to a jpeg file. The free version of Acrobat Reader does not have this functionality. A work around may be to place or import the Adobe file into a word processing program and then save as or export the Word file as a jpeg. The document can also be re-scanned as a jpeg file for a third option. If the document has text I would not recommend a jpeg file for anything other than viewing on a monitor.
