This may seem difficult to do, but it shouldn't be too hard. First, let me give you a little background. The school I go to requires me to wear a uniform. We have to wear a banded polo with our school's name on it and a certain skirt. There are also MANY restrictions on what we can wear.
You can dress emo in these ways:
find pins with a favorite band logo or something else you like and put them on your backpack or other school bag. second is the hair. You can wear little bows, as those are very popular. They come in many different colors and patterns, and there are a lot to choose from. You can also get other types of clips to use, too. another way is shoes. Popular "emo" shoes are vans or converse. Be careful with converse though. There are some great converse if you want to look emo, but there are other patterns that would be considered preppy, girly, or just not emo at all. You can also paint your nails. Some good colors are of course, black, dark reds, purples, greens and blues, but you can also paint them neon or bright colors. Remember, emo colors are not just dark ones.
Lastly, find a goo schoolbag/backpack that expresses you. One with a cool pattern or print suck as skulls or stripes would be good, but remember still to be yourself and find one you actually like. An alternative backpack idea would be to buy a soild colored one, and then decorate it with pins, buttons, and you can even doodle and write on it to give it a personal touch.
