I am not sure if you have lost someone through death or just decided to go your separate ways. Either way it's painful.

"Time" is the factor here. Believe it or not, just like grieving over someone that died, having someone you love, leave, is also a form of grief. Time does heal, and there are wonderful people out there, and you will find someone else.

Most of us hold a special place in our hearts for someone that has touched our lives, and it can never be replaced, but we can retain happiness once again.

Keep moving! Get out with your friends, take up a sport or simply "run it off" by jogging. Make yourself accessible to other people or you will never have the chance to meet someone else. Don't be in a rush to have another person in your life. Learn about yourself and ask yourself what you learned from this person. In time, where tears filled your eyes, fond memories will make you smile.

Hang in there. It does get better.
