sexing goldfish is dificult but when they are in the breeding seson the females have large ovales e.g the stomace looks as if its swollon but the males have freckales in the breeding seson

They can only be sexed during breeding season when the males develop white spots on their gill plates and pectoral fins. The females only get a bit chubbier.
