If you are asking about a rock or stone polisher and have the washing machine motor left over from an old washer than you can use a combination of pulleys and belts. Yet I think that it would be cheaper to keep the transmission of the same washer. The transmission has several gears inside and can be set for the slowest cycle of spin, yet this speed will still be much faster than you need. I think you have a fun project yet you will save money by buying a lower speed motor to do the job you wish.
