How can you get five young children all to listen?

Answer

Buy something that they would all like to play with and tell them that they have to all sit down, stay quiet and listen to you and if they do this the reward for the most quietest person gets to play with the toy. The competitive streak in children will keep them quiet. Make sure you have rules for the toy though. And remember to choose a different child each time you need to talk to them so they dont get disheartened.

Answer

Say what you mean, and mean what you say. Do not give in, as this is the hardest thing about parenting, is we see the innocent eyes, and we melt.

Have the kids participate in tasks, and reward them for thier participation.

Bein strict while they are under 10 makes it easier for the entire family

Answer

Answer

Ha-Ha well If you don't wanna go the easy way give them candy, then take away their privlegages until they do what you want them to (ex. cell-phone,ipod,mp3,t.v., computer, talking on the phone, etc.)

Slapping them is not the answer. Talk to them individually, or if you are talking to them as a group, talk to them as if you were talking to them a individuals.
