by eating food that is unclean.
or by eating food that has been purposely poisoned by someone.
Or you can get poisoned if you buy food from the Food Poison section at Walmart.

You can get food poisoning from several things. Mainly it involves food preparation. For instance, foods are cooked which have not been properly stored....ie not refrigerated. Could be foods like pork, especially, not cooked long enough. Salad bars are notorious for transmitting food poisoning simply through improper washing of vegetables that may contain bacteria. More than anything....those preparing the food can transmit bacteria into the food from improper hand washing.
