How can you get iTunes to list the artist name?

Okay. first, open up your iTunes library and right click on the song you want to fix. When you right click on it, there should be a little white box that comes up that says stuff like "get info...; rating; etc.". Click on "Get Info..." and then a bigger box should pop up. Once that box comes up, you will see stuff like a picture of the album cover and all sorts of tabs and what not. The tabs will say: "Summary, Info., Video, Sorting, Options, Lyrics, and Artwork". Click on the tab that says "Info." There you will see boxes that you can write in that say "Name, Artist, Album Artist, etc." Click in the box that says Artist and type in the name of the artist. Once you do that, click "Close".

Right click on the song title in your library and choose Get Info (or select Get Info from the iTunes File menu). Select the Info tab and enter a new name in the Name box. Fill in any other details you wish to store with the song and click the OK button.

If you right click on the song you want to change you can select Get Info from the menu. Click on the Info button and enter the Artist's name in the Artist box. Clicking the Sorting button lets you change how the name is sorted in the library list, for example, under S for Sinatra rather than F for Frank.
