go to youth court services and talk to a couselor on the reason why. you have the right to be heard by a youth court judge. a court appointed guardian could be assigned to help sort the matter out and tell the judge what they think on your behalf. also, there is human services, social workers, and welfare workers, they can help. but if it has to do with one parent giving you strict guidelines and the other not, forget it. the only way you can change something is if there is neglect and abuse involved.

Divorce with child custody when spouse lives abroad?

A divorce with the custody of a child involved can get very tricky when one parent lives abroad. It is almost impossible to force the absent parent to pay child support, and if the parent takes the child to some countries it may be impossible for the US parent to get the child back,

If One parent has full custody but child wants to live with noncustodial parent?

They recently changed the laws of custody, No one parent has full custody UNLESS they see the other parent as unstable and unfit. If the parent you want to live with has been deemed unfit as a parent then it will have to be taken to court or you can contact certain child organizations to give you more details about how to leave your current home and return to the home of an "unfit parent" However if one parent obtained full custody of the child and the other parent was not deemed unfit as a parent, you may still live with them because of the recent change in custody laws, stating no one parent can have full or primary custody. (in other words, if your mom has full custody and your dad has none ((Also assuming the father hasn't been charged with being a drug addict, alcoholic, or financially unstable etc.)) you may live with the father)

Can the custodial parent change an order for custody of child occurring after custodial parent's death?

What rights does a parent with sole custody have?

There are different types of custody: sole physical custody, where the child resides primarily with one parent but the non-custodial parent is typically awarded visitation rights, and sole legal custody, where one parent makes decisions in the child's life pertinent to their welfare. So, rights are delineated dependent upon the same.

How do you get interm custody?

In order to get interim custody, you will need to petition the court. When children live with one parent, and the other has visitation, but there is no order in place, the parent whom the children live with has what is called defacto custody.

Will you receive more child support with sole custody as opposed to joint custody?

You may since sole custody implies the child lives with that parent 100% of the time. With joint custody the child may dwell with the other parent for part of the time or with one parent all of the time with visitations for the other parent. It depends on the details and the state child support guidelines.
