You have 2 options - take an Accelerated Freefall (AFF) or Static Line Parachuting course. AFF takes 8 levels to pass (but you can fail a level and therefore have to retake). Static Line takes about 22 levels and is great for people who cannot afford to fork out for the entire course in one go. AFF is definitely a quicker route.

I jump at Skydive Hibaldstow and there, an AFF course costs £1450. Once you have done your basic levels, you will be required to complete 10 consolidation jumps before qualifying for your FAI 'A' Certificate.
