No means of prevention of the development of Asperger's syndrome/disorder is known to medicine, especially of the mental health specialty, as yet. This is true in large part because the actual causes of the condition are still unknown.
You have to live with it and learn to adapt to the people around you and watch what they do and copy them. Unfortunately, with our condition we'll never fit in but we can learn to not be so annoying to others. This is a condition you're born with but is incurable. Sorry - I would've got cured if it were possible.
As of now there are no proven strategies to prevent Asperger's syndrome in general. However in individual cases the following strategies might help.
Asperger's is within the Autism spectrum. You can't "cure" or get rid of it but you can learn to do things that will help you maintain the lifestyle you would like. My suggestion is that you contact your local Autism Association for information about Asperger's and programs and workshops that might be helpful to you.
Since the diagnosis isn't definitely correct there are things you can do to "get rid of Asperger's Syndrome". Try and get it removed from records since it can easily go unnoticed, peers may not notice that you have it and if they do just say that you don't since they can prove it. It could be seen as slander if someone says that because it could ruin your reputation and even if you have a diagnosis it is only the professional's opinion and they aren't always right. If there is no evidence of a diagnosis you won't legally have the condition and if you want to get rid of it and succeed don't see a professional again. If you see a professional to get undiagnosed that may actually be not as good since the people who have access to your records will see the original diagnosis and an undiagnosis whereas if you were to have it removed there will be no evidence of an Asperger's Syndrome diagnosis.
No, their is no way to prevent aspergers. It's genetic. But it is not such a bad thing to have.
It is a more severe version of aspergers
Close, asburgeres sounds similar to aspergers. Asburgeres specifically does not exist but aspergers does. Other names for aspergers is asperger(s) syndrome and autistic psychopathy which is the original name for aspergers.
Aspergers is not a mentall illness it is not a diesease you can,t catch aspergers by being around someone with aspergers. People with aspergers are born with it. Although aspergers affects the way people think and veiw the world it is not a diesese. Recent aspergers studies have shown that in brains of people with aspergers there is a difference in the way the brain is wired and set up. and there have also been studies of aspergers brain waves and it showed the brain waves of people with aspergers differed from nerotypical brain waves. Just because people with aspergers think differently does not make them mentally ill there is a huge difference between the two.
Aspergers Society of Ontario was created in 2000.
I dont know that Aspergers is a sickness. It is said usually that someone is "gifted" with Asperger. That means it is a blessing. Many Aspergers say that they wouldnt trade Aspergers with a neurotypical life. I dont think Aspergers is a sickness.
Each person who has aspergers has a different personality, and aspergers manifests itself differently in different persons. So, probably, no one who has aspergers has all the symptoms, because the combination is different in each individual.
Aspie = Person with Aspergers Syndrome. It's friendly slang that those with Aspergers Syndrome use to refer to themselves. People without Aspergers Syndrome are referred to as NTs - Neurotypicals.
Aspergers is quite sorta... wierd. you can normally conversate and other things that non-aspergers people do but it's like seeing everything clearly but being behind a glass wall.
