In Pokémon Pearl, in order for Cherrim to lay an Egg, you need to have a female Cherrim be put into the Daycare in Solaceon Town with a male Pikachu, Raichu, Clefairy, Clefable, Jigglypuff, Wigglytuff, Chansey, Togetic, Marill, Azumarill, Hoppip, Skiploom, Jumpluff, Snubbull, Granbull, Blissey, Shroomish, Breloom, Skitty, Delcatty, Mawile, Plusle, Minun, Roselia, Castform, Snorunt, Glalie, Roserade, Pachirisu, Togekiss, Froslass, Bulbasaur, Ivysaur, Venusaur, Oddish, Gloom, Vileplume, Paras, Parasect, Bellsprout, Weepinbell, Victreebel, Exeggcute, Exeggutor, Tangela, Chikorita, Bayleef, Meganium, Sunkern, Sunflora, Lotad, Lombre, Ludicolo, Seedot, Nuzleaf, Shitry, Cacnea, Cacturne, Tropius, Turtwig, Grotle, Torterra, Cherubi, Cherrim, Carnivine, Snover, Abomasnow and Tangrowth. You could also put a Cherrim of any gender into the Daycare with a Ditto in order for them to breed so that Cherrim will lay a Cherubi Egg.
